Mariea, RYT 200, has been committed to an everyday yoga practice since October 2017. Mariea completed her teacher training with AM Yoga in GrandRapids, MI fall of 2018."The reason I love teaching is because I know how empowering and healing it's been for me to face myself and be kind to myself with whatever I'm bringing to my mat that day. Through my daily personal practice, I learned to show up for myself on my mat and in real life."
"I've always had a deep interest in the practice and I am naturally flexible. After having my son I decided to be intentional about myself as an individual. My partner encouraged me to pursue my dream of being an instructor. In 2020 I completed my RYT 200. What I love most about yoga is the physical peace it brings to your body. After a challenging gentle class it leaves you feeling meditative and at peace. As a teacher, I hope to bring each student to a state of peace and confidence to challenge their body as well."
