Leah is our senior LMT and has been practicing massage therapy since 2004. Leah is professionally trained in several massage therapies which she acquired graduating from Olympia CTI-Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is celebrating her 10th year with Hartman's office this March 2016. She specializes strongly in Sports Injury, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Sciatica, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Neuromuscular, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Sinus Release, Aromatherapy, as well as practices Pre-natal and Swedish massage. . Leah recently graduated from International Sports Science Association (Los Angeles) as a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Specialist in Fitness Nutrition in December 2015.
Leah is known for her "hurts so good" massage, as she takes a strong passion for her work as well as her clients' needs. She enjoys educating her clients in nutrition, health, and overall wellness. Clients consider Leah efficient and thorough with her techniques, as well as her love to help better their health. Leah is an avid fitness enthusiast, food lover, traveler/home chef, traveler and musician/singer with her band performing when she isn't in the office.
Deb joined us in December 2013 after having worked for another chiropractor and a salon. She trained at Blue Heron Academy and specializes in medical massage, pregnancy massage, and Swedish techniques. Deb's passion is to help with her patients' injury or problem areas as well as provide a relaxing experience overall. Her style is therapeutic with emphasis on client comfort. It is Deb's goal to always provide professional and excellent care to enhance your health and general well being.
Kim is a graduate of Blue Heron Academy and has been performing massage since 2000. She has been working in Chiropractic offices for over 14 years specializing in Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy. She really takes pride in focusing on the source of pain and working out those problem areas. Kim has a true passion for what she does and finds it extremely rewarding everyday building relationships and helping patients return to activities they enjoy. Kim wants patients to feel the time they spend with her is one of the better parts of their day. Outside of work Kim is very down to earth and loves to laugh. She is a proud mother, food enthusiast, and loves the outdoors. Her favorites are going camping, hiking, biking, and running.
Alizabeth just recently graduated from Blue Heron Academy with her certification in Medical Massage completed her licensure through the state of Michigan in July with a standing membership with the A.M.M.A (American Medical Massage Association). She specializes in: medical massage, pregnancy massage, R.O.M, Sciatica, Swedish massage/deep tissue massage: that is comfortable, relaxing and effective. Her focus is to make her clients feel welcome, relaxed, and walking out better than they did walking in. Alizabeth encourages her patients to be active participants in their healing process with following treatment plans to better their mind, body, and spirit through stretching, exercise, and nutrition. Alizabeth is a firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, she is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being. You can find Alizabeth playing games, sports, baking, or reading a good book when she is not in the office.
Kristina lives in Wyoming, MI with her husband and twins. She specializes in deep tissue massage and pregnancy massage. Kristina utilizes a variety of techniques in order to provide her patients with relief/relaxation.
