Leah is our senior CMT and has been practicing massage therapy since 2004. Leah is professional trained in several massage therapies which she acquired graduating from Olympia CTI-Kalamazoo, Michigan. She has been with our practice since 2006, celebrating her 9th year in March 2015. Her certifications/specialties include: Sports Injury, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Swedish/Relax Massage, Neuromuscular, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, R.O.M, Sciatica, Pregnancy Massage/Care and Sinus Release. She also uses aromatherapy throughout her massages.
Leah is known for her "hurts so good" massage, as she takes a strong passion for her work as well as her clients' needs. She enjoys educating her clients in nutrition, health, and overall wellness in their everyday lives. Clients consider Leah efficient and thorough with her techniques, as well as her love to help better their health. Leah is an avid fitness/gym enthusiast, food lover, traveler, and musician when she isn't in the office.
Deb joined us in December 2013 after having worked for another chiropractor and a salon. She trained at Blue Heron Academy and specializes in medical massage, pregnancy massage, and Swedish techniques. Deb's passion is to help with her patients' injury or problem areas as well as provide a relaxing experience overall. Her style is therapeutic with emphasis on client comfort. It is Deb's goal to always provide professional and excellent care to enhance your health and general well being.
Alizabeth just recently graduated from Blue Heron Academy with her certification in Medical Massage and will be completing her licensure through the state of Michigan in July with a standing membership with the A.M.M.A (American Medical Massage Association).She specializes in: medical massage, pregnancy massage, R.O.M, Sciatica, Swedish massage/deep tissue massage: that is comfortable, relaxing and affective. Her focus is to make her clients feel welcome, relaxed, and walking out better than they did walking in. Alizabeth encourages her patients to be active participants in their healing process with following treatment plans to better their mind, body, and spirit through stretching, exercise, and nutrition. Alizabeth is a firm believer in the inseparable connection between body/mind, she is a proponent of massage for relieving physical as well as emotional stress, and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being. You can find Alizabeth playing games, sports, baking, or reading a good book when she is not in the office.
